If YOU don't want the Curly Wurly, send it to ME!! The Irish shop in town ran out of them. Pout.

When you say pants, you mean manpris, right?

AHAHAHAHAHA, lilydale!

snacky, you make me cry! (I saw somebody outside wearing manpris this afternoon. If I wasn't so busy dashing into air conditioned wonderfulness I would've gone over and asked him if he knew he was contributing to the downfall of the world as we know it.)

Oh, hi, K! My favourite colour really isn't yellouw (or yellow) but that's the first one with an o in it that cam to mind for me to spell wrong.

But, but based on my mood, my favorite color and the fact that the weather here is pants, you're bound to recommend something by Depeche Mode.

And because I am punchy and crabby, I read it as "what are you wearing," not "what are you reading."

An idiot. That's me.

Well, God knows reading your black t-shirt and black capris (w/ elastic waist) might be more interesting that some of the shit that gets passed off as publishable.

Actually I love that. It introduced an intriguing random note to the poll. Also I hope to borrow Black Capris from the library very shortly. *g*

Black Capris does rather sound like some kind of murder mystery. Or cookbook.

I am currently reading the worst book EVER written in order to write a review of it. It is so bad that I can only read a few pages at a time. At this rate, the review might be done in 2007.

(1) Need a weeish bit of geeing up. Sort of stuck in amber here, which makes me worried that someone might stick a needle in me, extract dinosaur blood, mix it with frog DNA and from there we get movies with Jeff Goldblum, and that's just not on.

(2) The Historian isn't bad. I just may finish it. Also, I might mention Miss Leavitt's Stars, the story of the woman who discovered how to measure the universe. Rock on, Henrietta.

(3)You know well that my favOURite colOUr is Purple. I'm an asshole for not finishing that. Except in my head. I was going to make the villain patterned on TomBli but TomBli is so OTT that nobody would believe it.

(4) All electronica all the time would suit me fine. I queue that up a fair bit on my iPod but lately I seem stuck on this rubbishy 80s mix in which I enjoy "Der Kommissar" (English version) just way, way, way too much.

(5)You could rec music, but I gave you a no so you wouldn't be arsed if my weirdness was just inscrutable to your music muse.

(6) My weather is hot pants, which were a particularly putrid specie of 70s trend clothing, a pair of which I have a picture of my mother, who's beautiful and posh, wearing. I love her far too much to scan in the picture and share. When I'm not drunk.

(7)Indeed you should buy a Curly-Whirly because Early-Pearly has not come by to ask me if I need a ride, and I actually might, you know.

I am trying to decide: finish doing the stuff I need to do to move to Davis and start law school in three weeks, or suicide? It's a toss-up, at this point, with whatever seems easiest at the moment winning out.

I have recently fallen for the Shins, Wilco, Keane, and Death Cab. It's like my inner sixteen-year-old is protesting the fact that I was stuck with Sarah MacLachlan in high school to pin my alterna-pop love upon.

Fudoki is really, really good.

You should buy a Curly-Whurly because then I can tell A. "infinitemonkeys talked about Curly-Wurlys today!" and his face will light up and he will repeat the word back to me with his original English accent instead of his bastardized American one. My motivations are cheap. *g*

I have this vague notion that a "pants" thing is a fairly frelled up thing, and so, my weather is not pants. It's Florida, the end of July, and it's *supposed* to be 95 F in the shade.

I find myself both horrified and cheered by the way the poll responses tended towards "I feel awful, please frak off now". I am definately more upstream than that.

And you used "fair to middling", which is cool.

But you forgot both kinds of music - Country *and* Western! *g*
