Help. Seeking suggestions

I wonder if I might ask your help. I'm looking for your favourite songs about New York. Doesn't have to have New York in the title so long as it's about the city.

Also, if you have any songs about America in general that you love, that would be good

(Or about London, but I think I have that mostly covered. Still, all additional suggestions welcome)

It's for a CD I'm burning for someone who's off on a trip to New York

Songs I have:
Ryan Adams, New York
U2, The Hands That Built America
Sting, Englishman In New York
Stephen Fretwell, New York
Billy Joel, New York State of Mind

The classic would be Frank Sinatra, "New York, New York."

"The Boy from New York City" by Manhattan Transfer (among others)
"Big Man on Mulberry Street" by Billy Joel
"The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)" by Simon & Garfunkel
"Strawberry Fields" by the Beatles
"Harlem Shuffle" by the Rolling Stones

Broadway-related songs would be good, too: "42nd Street," "Lullaby of Broadway," "On Broadway."

I can't do New York, New York. It's too New York, if you see what I mean. But thanks for the kick in the pants about Simon and Garfunkel. I can't believe I forgot that search term
