Spread some love?

There's storm-force crappity blowing in, with fresh fronts of whatEVAH moving in from the south, bringing with them a frisson of meh. This is displeasing. Today, in the midst of all the meh, someone said very nice things to me and while it didn't transform my week or suddenly make me fart strawberry flavoured and have passing songbirds whistling Beautiful Day in time to my tippy-tappy footsteps, it was very, very nice. I'd like to pass the feeling on.

I always liked the idea of that snaps cup meme except they're always hosted in the LJ of someone I don't know from Adam about how someone writes TEH BEST Black Beauty/Skippy the Kangaroo crossover slash. Well, I exaggerate because of the meh, but you know what I mean. Instead let us have some love about people I give a bugger about
(or indeed, people I don't give a bugger about. I don't mind if I don't know you. It's all good).

Let us reduce the perilously high ambient level of crappity. Here's how it works:
1. Comment with your username or someone else's
2. Post a link to your comment on your own LJ, so that your friends will know where to find you -- or just point them in this direction so they can say good things and have good things said about them
3. People can reply to your comment with reasons why the individual concerned is Donna-like in his or her gorgeousness

IP logging is off. Anonymity enabled. No name will get no comments, promise.

(ETA caveat removed and to explain that I have had a good day. My boss said really good things about and to me and I am getting an unasked for raise, so I am not in need of further nice things. Which is not to say it's not *great* to hear but I wanted to host, in an invisible sort of way, a carnival of love)

Son of ETA: There's a p2 now, SHE HINTED. You could spread the love even further in a non-icky sort of way. I am off for a kip now. Be excellent to one another and feel free to add your name to the end of the thing.

ETA, the revenge: On p3 now. Please feel free to carry on. Incapable of sentences sodding coherent I am, so you'll have to amuse yourselves

I love that you're on my reading list; I think it would be quite something to meet you. You have such a good sense of humor, though you don't post enough. My favorite thing is when we see the first glimmering of enthusiasm about a show and we all just know that, if we're lucky, fantastic stories will follow

I am always glad to see you post because I know it's going to be interesting and that your commentary will be full of intriguing points. Please feel free to write about Doctor Who and Donna whenever you like she hinted cunningly I don't know you well but I enjoy everything you write

You wander off sometimes and don't post for a while, and after some time I notice and think, damn, I hope we haven't lost Rheanna from fandom! And then you come back, and I'm glad.

Well, this is easy.:) Not only are you an extremely kind and smart and generous person, but you wrote one of the most beautiful fics I've ever read.

Go and do it again!:)

Yay! I am also thrilled that we share fandoms, but regardless of the fandom, I'm glad you're *here*, because you make fandom a better place. And it seriously thrills me that you like my writing. It's an ego boost like you can't believe.

songcomment!
WHERE do I BEGIN
to tell the STORY of how GREAT a beta can be
a great beta STORY that is older than the sea
WHERE do I START

With HER first edit NOTES
she worked her WONDERS with that BIZARRE fic of mine
that fic with PLOT so serpentine
with her help the fic came out JUST FINE
She FIXED MY FIC

She FIXED MY FIC
And brought out special things
She makes it good
and pulls out crappy scenes
She FIXES FIC with so much love

And ANYWHERE I GO, I'm never lonely
With her along, who could be LONELY
Istanbul or Paris, she's always there

How long can it last?
Seven years went by like hours in a day
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I'd wait for Ruthfic until the stars all burned away
And SHE'LL be THERE!
