Never, in all my born days have I ever seen such shameless flirting with the truth, showing the truth's ankles, shaking the truth's knockers in the audience's face and all the while not showing the truth's face. Oh you Cardiff people!

I am not offended with you doing all the ridiculous teasing if you don't mind me taking a frying pan to your heads. You wee scamps!

Ha! Someone pre-edited Wikipedia.

Meh. Could be worse. Missed opportunity. I have now crossed that very unfortunate bar of having a Doctor be played by an actor younger than me. OTOH, so has most of the LJ population

Am off to the pub with J now where I will talk about none of this malarkey
ETA Goddammit, J can't be arsed to go out because she has a cold. Am watching John Adams and feeling very grumpy.

ETA II. After commenting to cofax7, I have decided to displace my negative feelings -- which are minimal, to be honest, except disappointment that they weren't remotely brave, daring or exciting in their casting choice -- onto Piers Wenger. Not that I have any reason to dislike him, but I don't want to dislike Eleven's actor nor do I wish to dislike Moff, since that seems to be the fashionable thing to do. Sod fashion. So... I do not like Piers Wenger. I do not like his name and I do not like his stupid arseface or his haircut. It offends me. I am displacing my (minimal) arseyness onto him. Yay!

Of course they will. This is part of the joy of fandom. Also, I don't like his arseface.

:::is eight also, so almost as old as Eleven:::

Well, Housewife, 49 was excellent but I'd put that down to the script and source material. However this lovely thing, provided through the might of Wikipedia, tells us that at one point he was looking for love and rather dissatisfied with Gaydar

Oh my God the people in that article. They make me want to join Class War.
