Episode 5 of Being Human is up on the BBC blog ahead of tomorrow's transmission.

It may well be the best hour of television I've watched this year, with one enormous caveat. If you're not watching this show, bloody hell, you should be. It's funny and ingenious and occasionally heart-breaking.

I'm afraid I can't really summon up enthusiasm for anything else. I've had a crap day and some bad news and, God, can I go back to work already? Next week can't come soon enough.

I have just finished watching Ep 4 (6 days late owing to Scottish shenanigans) and I have to say I am completely fucking terrified of next week's episode.

Eeek. I'm aorry about your bad news. Have some anti Dementor chocolate.

Bless you. *g*

It was amazing, I thought. I said "holy shit" twice, cheered once, and *head-desked* once. This is my unspoily review.

I didn't particularly care for recast!Mitchell but as time goes on, I'm riveted by his storyline.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The original Mitchell was so unusual, so louche and unpredictable, that the new Mitchell had a hard time competing. If he had been the first Mitchell I'd seen I'd have had no problem. I love him now, though, and I always preferred the recast Annie
