First of all, happy birthday to lilydale. I thought that since you were about to be in picture country... *g*

In your honour, I am watching a documentary I downloaded about Andrew Wiles and Fermat's Last Theorum. If I scrunch up my forehead and nod knowingly it looks as though I understand the maths. This is, of course, a lie.

For your b'day, I retooled your icon (though please stick to the old one if you prefer it)

-------------------

Also, here are some other icons I've been arsing about with. Please help yourself if you want 'em:

Admit it, you wanted cake. Death is only a poor substitute for cake *g*

Word
Much love to the iconage, or something similarly hip and 'street'

Needless to say, there are several that will fit in the aspect ratio, with tweakage. I will be baffing these over the head with a bottle of cheap cider and running away with them shortly...

Harry love! I love them all, but especially Harry.

And speaking of The Worst Spy in England, did you see the special show where they were interviewing the cast as to whether they'd want to be a real life spook, and MM said, "I'm not smart enough to be a spy." I laughed and laughed because you really don't have to be smart to be the Worst Spy in England.

You don't. You just have to be lovelorn and pretty in a long coat.

I suspect the real spies are a bit more efficient but don't look nearly so good in a long coat

Thank you. The documentary is pretty good and the book is even better. Simon Singh wrote it and it's very accessible, even for someone with a too-shaky grasp on maths (I passed the maths exam I needed to matriculate at 15 and never bothered again)

You are awesome!! Not the least of which because I immediately thought something along the lines of, "How handy for I am about to be in picture country!" :-)

I like the retooled version because I love green. Thanks! I will have to debate whether to keep both versions just because I can.

Also, I took some of the U2 icons because they're lovely and because I don't have to have just one music icon anymore.

I'm glad you like it. I was experimenting with stuff I had seen crystal_lily do and I think it looks quite nice.

I'm glad you like them. Is that one from Grosse Point Blank?

I want to see that movie again.

Those U2 icons are GORGEOUS. MacPhisto! MacPhisto! And speaking of DVDs, I'm so psyched to hear there's a U2 DVD "box set" coming out next year. It had better have all three concerts on it (Red Rocks, PopMart and Zoo Sydney).

I'm swiping 8 and 9. GORGEOUS!

I'm glad you like them. I'd forgotten I had the DVD -- it came free with my copy of Greatest Hits 1990-->

I'd forgotten how interesting *visually* U2 were around the time of Zooropa. Unfortunately I didn't like that period of their music so well. It seemed like a dip after Achtung Baby and they didn't get their groove back until ATYCLB Having said that, I like almost all the singles from that period.
